The Week of November 2nd - 6th

Math

Student will use standard, word and expanded form to represent a number up to 600 (Example 535, 500 + 30 + 5, and five hundred thirty five).  They will also use concrete and picturial representations to compose and decompose numbers up to 600.  Students will continue to practice graph and to create a word problem that relates to the data.

There will be a math common assessment given this week.

Science

Students will investigate the effects of increasing and decreasing light energy.

Social Studies

Student will continue to study government (local, state, and federal).  Students will learn about the voting process.
